So where do I begin? First thank you for the Visit. My name is Bruce Freeman and I will not speak in the 3rd person since I am the person speaking. I come from the east coast of the United States. I'm from the state of Delaware, born in the city of Wilmington. My passion for photography started here. When I was 14 my sister gave me my first camera. I still remember who made it. It was from Ricoh. The camera was loaded with 126mm film cartridge's. During these years I was a typical teenage photographer; school newspaper, year book and girls. I learned how to develop film and print using my own darkroom setup in my basement. From this period to today I have always carried a camera. I am totally self taught. I am now 65.

I served in the U.S. Air Force through the 80's to the mid 90's. Travelling extensively through out Europe and the Middle East. The richness and the beauty I was exposed too helped establish my style to date. Walking down a street where there are buildings from the 14th century, still standing, has a way of changing your perspective. I not only walk straight ahead, I also look up. You will be surprised on what you find. Currently I live in Burtonsville, MD. Located south of Baltimore and slightly north of Washington D.C.. 

 

Over the next few pages I hope to share my world. I have just recently retired from a huge media company and started an LLC, specializing  in Real Estate and Architectural Photography. My favorite subject to shoot is nature, more to the point bird photography.
